Our Catholic Identity

Our Catholic faith is at the heart of who we are and what we do.

At Emmaus Catholic School, our Catholic faith is at the heart of who we are and what we do. As a proud part of the Morphett Vale Catholic Parish, we work together with the Parish to nurture the spiritual growth of our students and their families in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Faith is lived out in daily moments—through kindness, celebration, prayer and action. At Emmaus, we strive to build a school culture where compassion, hope, and love are not only taught, but practiced in meaningful and relevant ways.

In the classroom, students engage deeply with their faith through the Crossways Religious Education Curriculum and the Made In The Image of God (MITIOG) Curriculum, daily prayer, liturgies, and the celebration of Mass.

Guided by our Mission Leaders, the Mini Vinnies team organises a range of initiatives that support those in need and raise awareness of important causes. Each year, they lead efforts for the St Vincent de Paul Society and Catholic Charities and coordinate activities that align with the Catholic Social Teaching principles.

If you’d like to find out more about how faith is celebrated and nurtured at Emmaus, please feel free to get in touch with our friendly office team or speak with Mrs Justine Raponi, our Acting Religious Education Coordinator (REC).
